From 22 to 24 June, Foligno welcomed 30 students and 6 teachers from Italy, Spain and Greece for the Eco-Jobs International Contest, a key milestone in the Eco-Jobs project that gave participants the opportunity to present the entrepreneurial ideas they had developed throughout their learning journey.
Students from I.O. R. Laporta (Italy), EFA El Soto (Spain) and DIMITRA (Greece) gathered for a three-day international event focused on improving their pitching skills and showcasing their innovative project ideas before an expert jury.
Before the final competition, participants took part in a dedicated workshop on pitching and entrepreneurial communication. The workshop provided practical guidance on how to effectively present a business idea, communicate its value and engage an audience, helping students gain confidence and strengthen their presentation skills.
Presenting Innovative Ideas
The highlight of the event was the International Contest, during which 17 teams presented their projects to an international jury composed of representatives from the Eco-Jobs technical partners — GrowthCoop, ODYSSEA, EGInA and ITKAM — together with external experts:
- Roberto Greco, Founder and President of Didaxé Cooperativa Sociale a r.l.;
- Paolo Senatore, Startup and Business Services Coordinator at 012Salerno and Fondazione Saccone.
Each project was evaluated according to a set of criteria aligned with the objectives of the Eco-Jobs project. The jury assessed the ideas based on:
- Alignment with the principles of the New European Bauhaus Initiative;
- Innovation and originality;
- Effective use of the Delightex AR/VR platform;
- Environmental and social impact;
- Economic sustainability;
- Market readiness and business potential;
- Quality and effectiveness of the pitch.
The Winning Teams
Following a careful evaluation process, the jury announced the three highest-ranked projects:

The winning teams impressed the jury with their ability to combine innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurial thinking while effectively communicating their ideas.
More Than a Competition
Beyond the awards, the International Contest provided an opportunity for students and teachers from different countries to meet, exchange experiences and learn from one another. The event highlighted the creativity, commitment and potential of young people to contribute to a greener and more sustainable future through innovative ideas and solutions.
