Student mobility in Berlin launches ECO-JOBS pilot phase

From 12 to 16 May 2025, the ECO-JOBS student mobility in Berlin marked the launch of the project’s pilot phase. Hosted by ITKAM, it brought together 30 VET students from Italy, Spain, and Greece to form international teams and begin developing green business ideas.

As part of WP4, students used collaborative, interdisciplinary methods to simulate sustainable enterprises, supported by project partners and teachers. They visited C1 Green Chemicals, BASE, Getränke Hoffmann, Klunkerkranich, and the EUREF Campus – offering a glimpse into Germany’s green innovation.

At ITKAM’s coworking space, students worked on business concepts using ECO-JOBS tools. COSH! led a workshop on conscious consumption, followed by presentations of the FEA-VEE project and the Biotextile Engineer profile. A farewell aperitif concluded the week.
Students will now continue their work in virtual classrooms, involving peers to develop their ideas into realistic, sustainable business models. The experience reflected ECOJOBS’ values—sustainability, creativity, inclusion, and cooperation. On May 16, students filled in feedback questionnaires and returned home.
